Marisela Medina is the visionary CEO and founder of Medina Builders, a certified woman- and minority-owned general contracting company proudly serving Southern California. A bold leader, passionate entrepreneur, and dedicated mother, Marisela brings over a decade of business experience, unmatched work ethic, and a deep commitment to quality and community to every project.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Tijuana, Marisela returned to the U.S. as a teenager, determined to succeed despite the challenges of not speaking English. Through perseverance, she quickly learned the language, immersed herself in school leadership programs, and built the foundation for her future as a businesswoman and mentor.
Her professional journey began in customer service and quickly evolved into leadership roles across several industries. After earning her degree in Business Management while working and raising her two sons, Marisela made the bold move to enter the construction world combining her passion for service, systems, and excellence into what would become Medina Builders.
Under her leadership, Medina Builders has grown into a respected commercial construction company known for its integrity, attention to detail, and client-focused approach. In 2025, the company proudly earned its certification as a California Small Business, marking a major milestone in its growth and community impact.
Beyond construction, Marisela leads multiple ventures in landscaping, commercial cleaning, and retail. She’s also a strong advocate for women in business, actively volunteering in local schools, serving on advisory committees, and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.
Marisela believes in building more than just physical structures she’s building legacy, opportunity, and impact. Whether it’s on the job site, in the boardroom, or at a school meeting, her core values never change: faith, hard work, and uplifting others.
